A connoisseur of art and culture, Diya Kumari extensively promotes traditional arts, music, and dance. She takes a keen interest in maintaining ‘The Friends of Museum,’ which was established by her father in the city palace for artists and craftsmen to exhibit their skills and crafts. Through the museum, she ensures the promotion of the arts of Jaipur which were on the verge of extinction and supports craftsmen associated with it. In 2013, she revived the tradition of the Gunijankhana, wherein the Jaipur Royal Family provided an institutional forum for singers, musicians, and dancers from the 17th century to 1949.
Keeping her contribution to the tourism and hospitality sector in mind, Diya Kumari was appointed as the Chairperson of Assocham’s Rajasthan Unit. The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) is a non-governmental organisation and advocacy group that represents the interests of trade and commerce in India. In 2012, she actively worked towards inspiring farmers to take up organic farming under ASSOCHAM’s programme.
Diya also contributes a column to a prominent Hindi daily of Jaipur in which she writes about her life and how she was groomed as an ordinary child by her father.
She has initiated the Young Achiever in Education Award in her name to encourage the youth to excel in the eld of academics. This award is given during the annual award ceremony organized in memory of her father, the Late Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh of Jaipur.
She was awarded the YFLO Women Achievers Award in Politics by the Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO), New Delhi.
In an interview, she revealed that she had a sweet tooth and loved chocolates.

Premchand Bairwa, a resident of Srinivasipura in Maujmabad tehsil, hails from a typical Dalit family. His political journey commenced with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, and in 1995, he dedicated his efforts to the Dudu Block Organization. Serving as a Zilla Parishad member from Ward 15 of Dudu in 2000 marked a significant milestone in his political career. Subsequently, he assumed roles such as the Jaipur District President of the SC Morcha and the Divisional General Secretary for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In the year 2013, when the Dudu assembly was reserved for the SC category, Premchand Bairwa emerged victorious by defeating the Congress candidate with a substantial margin of over 33 thousand votes.
