Career
Ayeza Khan began her career in the limelight as a participant in the “Pantene Shine Princess” contest during her school years, where she earned the first runner-up title. This early exposure led her to modeling opportunities, particularly in telecom advertisements. Balancing modeling with her college studies, Khan chose to pursue a career in entertainment, leaving her studies behind.
Her acting career kicked off in 2009 with a supporting role in the comedy-drama “Tum Jo Miley” alongside Fahad Mustafa and Sunita Marshal. She landed her first lead role in the drama serial “Pul Sirat” in 2010, but her breakthrough came with the 2011 Geo TV romantic drama “Tootay Huway Per.”
Khan gained widespread acclaim in 2014 for her performance in “Pyaray Afzal,” winning the Best Actress Award at the Lux Style Awards. Despite lucrative offers from Bollywood, she opted to take a break from the industry following her marriage.
Returning to television in 2016, Khan starred in the tragic romance “Tum Kon Piya” with Imran Abbas and also appeared in “Koi Chand Rakh.” Her role in “Meray Paas Tum Ho” earned her the Pakistan International Screen Award for Best Television Actress in 2019–20.
In 2021, Khan showcased her comedic talent in the series “Chupke Chupke” opposite Osman Khalid Butt, earning accolades including the Hum Award for Best Actress and Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress. However, her 2023 performance in “Mein” received mixed reviews, and she starred in “Jaan-e-Jahan” alongside Hamza Ali Abbasi, marking their second collaboration after “Pyaray Afzal.”
