Sonam Bajwa was born on 16 August 1989 in Nainital, Uttar Pradesh (now in Uttarakhand) in a Punjabi Sikh family. She completed her studies at Delhi University. In 2012, she moved to Mumbai and participated in the Femina Miss India competition. Following this, Bajwa worked as an air hostess but eventually left the job to pursue her dream of becoming an actress.
Career
Sonam Bajwa began her acting career with the film “Best Of Luck” in 2013, starring alongside Gippy Grewal and Jazzy B. In 2014, she appeared in “Punjab 1984” with Diljit Dosanjh, establishing herself in the Punjabi film industry. That same year, she made her Tamil film debut with “Kappal,” opposite Vaibhav.
In 2016, Bajwa featured in four films: “Sardaar Ji 2” with Diljit Dosanjh, “Nikka Zaildar” with Ammy Virk, “Born to Be King” with Ateesh Randev, and her Telugu debut “Aatadukundam Raa” with Sushanth.
