In November 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, Celesti Bairagey created an Instagram account. By January 2021, she began making Instagram reels, quickly reaching 10k followers by March 2021. As her popularity grew, she started receiving offers for brand promotions. She now has over 330k followers on Instagram and more than 25k subscribers on YouTube. Since May 2021, Madify Entertainment has managed Celesti’s advertising, music, and film projects.
In 2021, Madify Entertainment announced that they would be managing Celesti. On September 22, 2022, Celesti featured in the music video for “Tumi Ruwa” opposite singer Vicky Kalita. That same year, she appeared in the music video for “Protitu Pol 2.0” and performed Bihu, the traditional dance form of Assam, in the song “Dhon Keteki.” She was also featured in the music videos for the songs “Julie” and “Premore Behela” by Wonder Sisters.
Celesti acted in a short story titled “Mur Minoti” alongside Rabbani Soyam, which was released on March 17, 2022. Both she and Soyam wrote their own dialogues. In 2021, she was featured in the song “Bhalpuwa Kinu Hoi” from the film “Niveer Aru Tara.” In June 2021, Buddies Production approached her to work in their Assamese web film “Niveer Aru Tara,” released on April 20, 2022.
