Andrea started her journey in the entertainment industry with theater, starring in Girish Karnad’s “Nagamandala.” In 2006, she appeared in a new Leo Coffee advertisement alongside actor Shiva and acted in a serial broadcasted on Podhigai channel.
Her breakthrough in cinema came when she performed a song in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s “Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu,” leading to her selection for a lead role in his next film, “Pachaikili Muthucharam.” This film, based on James Siegel’s novel “Derailed,” saw Andrea portray Kalyani, a homemaker caught in a complex web of deceit.
In 2010, she signed on for Selvaraghavan’s fantasy-adventure film “Aayirathil Oruvan.” The following year, she accepted a minor supporting role in Venkat Prabhu’s “Mankatha.” In 2013, Andrea made her Malayalam cinema debut with Rajeev Ravi’s romance film “Annayum Rasoolum,” a role she considers among her best.
Her career continued to flourish with roles in Kamal Haasan’s “Vishwaroopam” and its sequel, released in 2018. She also starred in successful films like “Endrendrum Punnagai” and “London Bridge.”
