Mahira Khan began her career in 2006 as a VJ on MTV Pakistan’s live show “Most Wanted.” She later hosted AAG TV’s reality show “Weekends with Mahira” in 2008. In 2011, she made her film debut with Shoaib Mansoor’s “Bol,” playing Ayesha, a girl from a conservative family. Her TV drama debut followed with “Neeyat,” directed by Mehreen Jabbar.

From 2012 to 2017, she gained prominence with roles in popular dramas like “Humsafar” and “Shehr-e-Zaat” and hosted the talk show “TUC: The Lighter Side of Life.” Her 2014 role in “Sadqay Tumhare” and appearances in the 2015 films “Bin Roye” and “Manto” further established her as a leading actress.
