Dharsha Gupta began her acting career in Tamil television with the serial “Mullum Malarum” on Zee Tamil, where she played the role of Vijayalakshmi. She then appeared in the serial “Senthoora Poove” on Star Vijay, portraying an important character alongside Ranjith.
In 2020, Gupta gained widespread recognition for her participation in the comedy reality show “Cooku with Comali” (season 2). Her stint on the show was well-received, significantly boosting her popularity.
In 2021, director Mohan G. offered her a lead role in his action thriller film “Rudra Thandavam,” marking her debut as a lead actress in films. She played the character Varahi in the movie. That same year, she won the Best Debutante Actress of the Year award at the FAB AWARD film festival for her performance.
